Oil and Gas Forgings

Our Forgings have supplied Oil and Gas projects worldwide across the full range of ‘oil patch’ alloy grades.

Forgings extend from very large blocks (>5000kg) cylinders and rings for Christmas tree valve blocks, drill head casings, collars and landing bowls through to forged bars and shafts for drilling tools and small hammer forged rings for ball valve seating components (>10kg).

IFA are globally competitive on Ni alloys (625, 718, 825, 925) from applications such as tubing hangers, directional drilling tools, risers, connectors, flexible joints, seals, flanges gaskets and valve bodies and bespoke flat bar for gate valves.

Our customer approvals reflect our experience in this market and our metallurgists and production engineers have experience manufacturing against the most exacting industry specifications.
